Yorkshire-born actor Paul Butterworth is a British character actor working across film and television. His credits include The Full Monty, the BBC/HBO series Strike and Richard Eyre's Allelujah.
Known for grounded, authentic performances, he is frequently cast in authority figures, family roles and quietly disruptive characters.
Paul trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and holds a degree from Leeds Beckett University.
Alongside acting, he maintains an active visual arts practice and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Painting from the University for the Creative Arts.
