I am a native Yorkshire actor based in Cambridge with over 40 years TV/film experience in everything from Barry in 1977 'The Full Monty' to Richard in Richard Eyre's 2023 feature, 'Allelujah'. I am currently on screen in the new Specsavers advert 'The Joy of Ordinary Sounds' as the 'Hero Bus Driver'.

I graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama as a drama teacher in 1977 but went straight into children's theatre, rep, and then multiple northern based TV and film productions.

I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a BA Combined Studies in 1988 and in January 2024 I was awarded an Upper Second Class (2:1) BA Hons Painting from the University for the Creative Arts. There's a link to my art website below.
